Cattleya forbesii

Cattleya forbesii from Brazil is one of the most common species in the bifoliate group.

The pseudobulbs are about 20-25cm (8-10") high. The flowersize is about 7,5-10cm (3-4").

This species is very easy to grow and flower if provided  warm to intermediate conditions.

I grow mine potted in a traditional bark mix.
