This miniature species is widespread on islands of the southwest Pacific.
It can be found in Bougainville, Vanuatu, Guadalcanal, Santa Isabel, the Santa Cruz Islands and in Papua New Guinea on Rossel and Misima Islands.

It grows at elevations of 360-2340m. Plant size 6-8cm. Flower size 3cm. I/C grower.
