Lepanthes chameleon

L. chameleon occurs in the southern mountains
of Cartago (Machogaff), Costa Rica.
It grows at high elevations, 1800-2500m. Plant size 5cm. The flowers are 2.5cm
tall.
At elevations above 2000m plants often grow low
down on the tree trunks, mostly below 1m.
The conditions are very harsh. The temperature usually drops down to 10°C at
night.
