This is a very variable and widely distributed species.

T. triglochin is found in Ecuador, Brazil, Bolivia, Peru, Venezuela, Colombia, Panama and Costa Rica at altitudes of 250 m to 1900 m.

Best grown mounted and watered daily throughout the year. Intermediate conditions.

This is a true mini, the leaves are only 30-35mm (1 1/4") long,  the flowers 15mm (3/5")long and 8mm (1/3") wide.
